Happy Valentines Day!! Our Valentine Tradition at the Isle is to offer up free delivery of a gift, flowers and candy...gotta get all Valentine bases covered ya know. Lucy made these fantastic little posies...some of the prettiest we've had on Valentines Day in the 10 years we've been doing this. We have Valentines by Maxwell Elementary students adorning the walls and it just looks great. The store seems to glow pink and red. The Valentines will be on display through Sunday. On Friday we'll have a special reception during Gallery Hop. If you can't come by then, there's more photos here.
Things are going well for The Apples in Stereo. Their song "Energy" is the most added at CMJ. That's big stuff! Tonight they'll be playing on Conan. Hopefully they aren't trapped in the big blizzard. And if they are trapped in the big blizzard, I hope they're somewhere fun with lots of friends and nuthin to do but enjoy the fact that the world has shut down, if only for a day or two. Go Apples! Go! We're watching you from down here. Hope the tour's a huge success because gosh darn it! I love this album. Thank the Gods, so does Lucy cause it's all either of us want to listen to it seems. My personal faves? Same Ole Drag and Play Tough.
Finally...according to my Quit-O-meter...as of this posting I have not smoked in 2 weeks 13 hours and 12 minutes. That means I have NOT SMOKED 222 cigarettes and I have saved $48.21. Woo! Hoo!
